Senior Fellow Finishes 2nd at Nationals

Congratulations to 2007 Philadelphia Debate Institute Senior Fellow Stephanie Caravias for finishing in 2nd place at the National Catholic Forensic League Grand National Tournament. Stephanie was named runner-up champion on a 3-2 decision in the final round.

Stephanie is a rising senior at Ridge HS in New Jersey.

The Senior Fellows Program is a program designed for upcoming seniors in high school to receive a combination of experience in debate coaching and intense debate instruction at the same time. Senior Fellows act as faculty assistants and help lead lab groups, constructively critique students, and assist lectures. Past Senior Fellows, Matt Shields and Allison Huberlie, have both gone one to win the Harvard National Invitational, and are now students at Yale University and the University of Pennsylvania.
