Tuition and Financial Aid
General Program Costs
- Tuition
- $100 per student + $25 late registration fee. Your card will be charged if and when your student is accepted.
- Late Application Fee
- $25 for each application received after December 1st
- Housing
- $50 per student as available. Students requesting housing will be informed whether such housing is available by the 16th of December. If you want housing for your student, please select the "Winter Debate Institute Tuition & Housing" payment option. You will not be charged for housing if we do not have space to house your student.
For Perspectives Afterschool Students Only
Any student attending a Perspectives partner school where there is a Perspectives-run afterschool program can attend the Winter Debate Institute for free. Students who receive a full tuition waiver to attending the Winter Debate Institute are required to compete in at least two tournaments during January and February 2009.
Financial Aid
One of Perspectives' guiding principles is that debate education should be accessible and affordable. To that end, please note that generous need-based financial aid is available. The financial aid application is now available. All financial aid applications are due December 15, 2007.
