Perspectives Success Story: Yong Lin Lee
Perspectives gave me confidence and gave me skills that have enhanced my life. But most importantly, I met Perspectives volunteers who revised every draft of my college essays and answered every question I asked. Their guidance was my ticket to a great college.
Yong Lin Lee always dreamed of attending the University of Pennsylvania, but knew that his limited resources would make this goal a difficult one. A Philadelphian, Yong knew that even top grades at his school couldn't guarantee him at spot at Penn. This fall, Yong will join the Class of 2012 on a full University-supported scholarship.
What made the difference? Debate, says Yong, who worked with Perspectives volunteers for over 100 hours to prepare his application for colleges. Perspectives is proud to have students like Yong, and hopes that you are interested in supporting debate to help students like him achieve their dreams.

If you are unable to attend the auction, you can also buy raffle tickets. We will be raffling off a 42-inch flat screen plasma television!
