Congratulations to Xavier Brown, who was the 2008 Voices of Philadelphia Novice Champion! Xavier won both his semifinal and final debates, and earned a $2,500 scholarship to Drexel University.
As well, congratulations to Xavier Brown, Candace Cahoe, and Nasha Ward, who all earned a full scholarship to the 2008 Philadelphia Debate Institute.
Finally, congratulations to coach Bart Poindexter, who was honored at the Voices of Philadelphia tournament as a Perspectives "Rising Star" coach.
